The Richmond Fire Department now has a used clothing drop off box. Anyone in the community can now have a place to drop off their unwanted items as long as they meet the criteria for items listed on the sign.

   The items you drop off are given to people in need, both in the USA and third world countries. The Fire Department also benefits by receiving a monetary reimbursement per lb. of clothing that is picked up. This money is put toward the operation of the fire department.

   This service has been a great success and we hope that the community continues to support it.
Please read the above sign that is on the box for a list of what is and what is not accepted. Also these items need to be properly packaged in plastic bags. Thanks for your help.
